At North Sheds, we offer a choice of three timber cladding options, allowing you to select the finish and thickness that best suits your garden building.

12mm Standard Shiplap

Our 12mm shiplap is a practical and affordable choice for everyday garden buildings. The interlocking boards create a traditional, neat finish while helping to protect against the elements.

Ideal for: Garden sheds and general outdoor storage.

15mm Log Lap

Our 15mm Log Lap features a distinctive rounded profile, giving your garden building the attractive appearance of a traditional log cabin. The thicker, decorative boards provide a more substantial appearance.

Ideal for: Summerhouses, garden retreats and customers looking for a more decorative finish.

Premium 22mm Shiplap (Finished to 19mm)

Our premium shiplap is manufactured from 22mm timber, which is machined to a finished thickness of approximately 19mm.

This thicker cladding offers a more substantial and robust finish, providing greater rigidity than standard 12mm shiplap, while maintaining the classic appearance of traditional shiplap boarding.

Ideal for: Workshops, premium garden sheds and customers seeking a stronger, more substantial timber finish.
